Inside, this boot is built around the same Pacific Northwest work boot fundamentals trusted by generations of workers: a genuine leather Goodyear welt, leather heel counter, and steel shank for long-term support and underfoot stability. For protection on the jobsite, the 1918 Moc Toe features a lightweight Composite Safety Toe that meets ASTM safety standards for impact and compression protection. To increase long-term durability, we also incorporated our reinforced Safety Stitch construction — stitching directly through the toe of the outsole to help reduce sole delamination in one of the highest flex and wear areas of the boot.
