The Drew’s 1918 6” Moc Toe Rough Out was built for hardworking people who care more about durability and performance than keeping their boots pretty. Built on the same foundation as our Crazyhorse Moc Toe, this version swaps in rugged brown rough out leather and a black wedge outsole for a tougher, more work-driven look and feel. “A Working Man’s Boot at a Working Man’s Price.” For over 100 years, we’ve helped build and fit boots for loggers, tradesmen, ranchers, and hardworking people across the Pacific Northwest. The 1918 Collection takes that experience and strips away the unnecessary extras to focus on what actually matters: durability, comfort, support, and value. Built with heavy-duty 7.5–8oz rough out leather, this boot is designed to thrive in harsh environments. Rough out leather naturally hides scratches, scuffs, and wear better than smooth leather while also offering increased abrasion resistance for demanding work conditions. It’s the kind of leather that looks better the harder you wear it. Underfoot, the black wedge sole provides all-day comfort and dependable traction on concrete, shop floors, and job sites while giving the boot a clean, timeless workwear look. Inside the build, we incorporated the same serious construction methods found in far more expensive boots: leather Goodyear welt construction, a leather heel counter for long-term support, and a steel shank for stability and reduced fatigue. To help combat one of the most common work boot failure points, we also added our reinforced Safety Stitch construction — stitching directly through the toe of the outsole to help reduce sole delamination in high-flex wear areas.
