From Kayano to Superblast
GEL-Kayano is the long-running flagship for supported miles; GEL-Nimbus is the plush neutral cruiser; GT-2000 covers stability at a friendlier price. The newer Superblast and Novablast lines — tall stacks of light, bouncy foam — earned cult status among high-mileage runners, and Metaspeed is the race-day plate. The retro side (GEL-Lyte, GEL-Kayano 14) is quietly one of the strongest heritage catalogs in sneakers.
Fit and feel

For high-mileage runners who want one shoe for everything from easy days to long tempos, it's one of the best-reviewed trainers of the past few years. For occasional runs, a Novablast or Nimbus delivers most of the experience for less.

Both are stability shoes; Kayano adds more cushioning, more tech and more price. GT-2000 gives most runners all the support they need.
